The ABA Matrix app is designed for ABA therapy sessions, built to support care delivery in any setting: at home, in school, or in the community. It enables providers to continue working without interruption, whether they are online or offline.

During sessions, users can collect data in real time, capture caregivers' and providers’ signatures, and complete Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) directly within the app. Offline functionality ensures that services can be delivered and documented without relying on an internet connection. Once connectivity is restored, all information syncs automatically, keeping records accurate and up to date.

When online, the app provides full access to scheduling tools, allowing users to manage their calendar, review upcoming sessions, and make updates as needed. This ensures that both session execution and administrative coordination remain connected within a single workflow.

ABA Matrix is built to support consistent, compliant, and efficient service delivery by connecting data collection, documentation, and scheduling in one unified experience.

Version History Clock-out reliability for EVV sessions
• Your clock-out is saved the moment you confirm it. If the app is closed or killed while it is still getting the time or your location, the clock-out is completed with the time you tapped Stop the next time you open the session.
• Sessions closed automatically by the system after their scheduled end now show as "Closed by the system — No clock-out recorded", with the scheduled end time, instead of looking like a normal clock-out. You are told once when this happens to a session you still had running.
• A "You're still clocked in" reminder appears 15 minutes after a session's scheduled end if it has not been clocked out. Tapping it opens the session's EVV tab.
• Queued clock-ins, clock-outs and other offline changes are re-sent automatically when you return to the app and every few minutes while you are online.
• Switching agencies no longer offers to discard pending clock-in or clock-out records; they must sync first.
• Fixes for clock-outs that could stay stuck, be duplicated or show the wrong time after a slow connection, an automatic sign-out or a restart.

- Data Collection during an active visit: Analysts no longer have to end an EVV session to turn on Data Collection. You can enable it from inside the session itself, and it works offline the change is saved on your device and syncs automatically as soon as you reconnect.
- More accurate dates and times: We rebuilt how the app handles dates and times. Signature dates, schedule days and session times now follow your device's local calendar consistently, so an evening entry is never recorded against the wrong day.
- Performance and stability: General under-the-hood improvements to app size and reliability. 2026.10.2 Oct 6 This update makes working offline more dependable.
• Reconnecting: the app now notices when your connection is back, including after VPN changes, and syncs your pending work right away. No need to close and reopen it.
• Schedule: fixed the status flipping between offline and online while the schedule refreshed.
• Data collection: a trial recorded while the previous save was still syncing is no longer lost or flagged as a conflict. It syncs right after.
• Data collection offline: the program selector no longer appears before the session's data has loaded.
• Voice Recordings stay available while offline and are listed among the options you can still use when other session data can't load.

• Set the signature date: when your agency's settings allow it, you can choose the date a signature applies to, including when you sign again after a recapture request.
• Clearer recapture requests: the provider signature screen now shows when a new signature was requested, and signing again completes the request.
• Signing several sessions at once: when every selected client allows it, you can set one date for all of them. Otherwise, they're dated the day you sign.
• Signature dates now match the day you actually sign, even if you're offline or signing late in the evening.
• The Caregiver Signature option is now hidden on locked visits, like the other actions.
Look and feel

The header shows the client, service, status, and time range, and it now looks the same on every device. We also removed a drag handle that didn't do anything.
• Data Collection program picker: the picker now shows which program is currently selected, highlights it in the list, and separates programs with dividers so long names are easier to read.
• Behavior details: long behavior names are now shown in full instead of being cut off behind an info icon.
• Change Password: the requirements message now lists exactly which special characters are accepted (# ? ! @ $ % ^ & * -).

• Capture voice memos right inside a session — start recording with one tap and
watch a live waveform as you talk.
• Every recording ends with a Keep or Discard prompt, so nothing is saved by
accident.
• New Voice Recordings hub in your Profile: browse everything you've recorded,
filter by client and date range, and play memos back with total recordings and
minutes at a glance.
• Recordings sync securely to your account. Older audio is cleared from your
device automatically to save space and re-downloads instantly when you play it.

Interval Data Collection
• New end-of-interval cue: an optional sound and vibration at the close of every
interval, so you can keep your eyes on the client instead of the timer.
• Turn it on or off any time under Profile → Interval sound & vibration.
Signing In
• Added "Forgot username" — enter the email linked to your account and we'll send
your username, no support ticket needed.

Caregiver Signatures
• Caregivers can review and sign session notes and monthly reports, sign several
events in one go, and preview the finished document before signing.
• Signatures captured offline are queued and sync on their own once you're back
online.

Design & Polish
• Refreshed notifications — alerts now stack cleanly instead of covering one
another.
• Better layouts on iPad and larger screens, with consistent spacing and
comfortable reading width throughout the app.

• Ending an EVV session no longer shows a "Could not save the end of the session" error when your device is offline or the connection is unstable. Your clock-out is saved on your device right away, clearly marked as not yet synced, and delivered automatically once you're back online.
• Timers in Data Collection now keep running when you move around the app. Duration and interval timers continue where they left off after switching between the EVV, Data Collection and Provider tabs, or moving between programs — including a YES already recorded in the current interval. 2026.8.13 Aug 24 This update improves data accuracy and account privacy.

Security verification is now shown only when required, with smoother support for two-factor authentication, biometric login, and session handling. Also includes schedule loading and stability improvements. 2026.7.15 Jul 28 • When you clock out with a weak or no connection, the app now clearly shows that your visit is saved on your device but not yet sent to the server — so you know to reopen it once you have a better signal.
